Main Street Bar & Grill at 735 Route 35 is expected to close before the end of the year.
“We still have about 6 weeks so let’s make it (a) great ending,” a Facebook post said.
“This post is to let everyone know that it is with great sadness we have to announce Main Street (Ocean Twp) will be officially closing at the end of this year. Thank you to all of those who have supported us throughout the years.”
It was known for its burgers, wings and crab meltaways.
Seaview Auto Corp., a nearby Jeep dealership is buying the building. The dealership plans to use the space for repair facilities, according to the Asbury Park Press.
